Courts
In referring a parent to Children’s Safety Centers, you help hurting families find hope and start the journey to repaired relationships and renewed rapport through consistent supervised contact.
Court Officials interested in having parties use our centers should have the court order state:
“The parties are required to have visitation or exchange services and are required to use the Children’s Safety Centers Network, inc., as well as follow the rules of that facility.”
Please do not have the court order state times of visitation or locations; CSC will work these details out with the clients. Please also have the court order indicate whether co-pays will be split or will be the responsibility of one party.
Then send CSC a referral form for each family. The Children’s Safety Centers Network Inc. reserves the right to reject or cancel parties that are referred to our Centers.
In order to use our centers, each parent must schedule an intake session or orientation (during office hours) by calling (651)774-4990. The registration fee is $50 per parent.
Please also contact us for any special service requests.
Individual – Level A Supervised Visitation:
These services are offered to families that want to ensure their visits are supervised in a smaller and more private environment. These customized sessions are ideal for famililies interested in additional privacy or security. Observations notes are recorded during each visit.
Traditional – Level B Supervised Visitation:
These services provide children and their non-custodial parent an opportunity to visit under the supervision of CSC staff in a group environment of multiple families and multiple supervisors. Observation notes are recorded during each visit.
Transitional – Level C
This service allows children and their non-custodial parents an opportunity to visit at CSC’s center in St. Paul. Custodial and non-custodial parents have no contact at our center. Arrival and departure times are supervised and documented, but there are no visit observation forms. The visitation is not directly supervised, but staff is in and out of the visitation area and is available for assistance as needed.
Safe Exchange
CSC provides supervised exchange services for the custodial parent to exchange children with the non-custodial parent for visitation, without any face-to-face contact. The co-pay covers both the pick-up and the return of the children.
